Olivia does not stay in one spot while she sleeps. I have to go into her room and super tuck her into her blankets when I go to bed so she won't fall out of bed. So when I went in last night this is what I found. She didn't even move when I took her picture with the flash twice. Silly girl!

Guitar Hero King
Nate bought Guitar Hero for our Wii and is pretty good but he does not have the "signature moves" like our nephew Derek. That kid has more "wiggle" in him than any kid I know! We all thought this was pretty entertaining so I am posting his version of Guitar Hero that he played at our house today. I'm pretty sure he will be a rock star someday... or really good at air guitar!
I challenge any of you to perform with moves like that!
Easter Egg Hunt
We held our own Easter Egg hunt in our backyard with Nate's sister and her three kids. Livi thought it was so awesome that Emi got to come to her house AND have a Easter egg hunt.

Derek is a little older so we had to get creative and hide some harder... Emily still beat him out on a few (she's almost 4) but this video is of him and Nate reaching for the sky...

We were glad to have the Birch's to hang out with today!

It's so hard to say goodbye....
It was a sad weekend for Livi as we had to say goodbye to the polka dot walls in her room. Poor girl has had such a hard time will all the changes at our house. Most of her toys are packed up and in storage, I had to convince her that it was ok for me to change the curtains by making pillows out of the old ones (Multi-colored polka dots--she told me she wanted them to stay "forever") and now I painted over the pink and purple (her two most favorite colors) polka dots on the wall and the bubble gum pink walls. To sell her on the new super-neutral wall color I bought Tinkerbell wall stickers. She thought they were awesome and kept giving me big hugs when she saw her room. Success! Thanks to my Mom and Dad for keeping her overnight while I slaved away to get all the painting done.

"Most Beautifulest Cowgirl"
Livi came out in this get-up today telling me that she was the most beautifulest cowgirl. She is really into dress up lately. She has on a cheerleader outfit, a tutu I made for her for Halloween when she was 1 (I can't believe it fit), a necklace and her cowgirl hat of course. She even named her horse Milly and showed me how she races her around. Future rodeo queen???...
Ski Day!
Olivia had a blast skiing and would have gone more times but her Dad could hardly move. He was thinking he would gladly pay someone else to ski backwards to teach her how to ski! Luckily she had her Aunt Holly there to help too. She told me that her favorite part was going on that lift chair thing. She wanted to go on it again but Nate was done. She did a really good job on the "magic carpet" too. Good day of skiing!
New Hair ideas
My sister-in-law Megan found this blog that gives us Mom's with girls ideas on how to do hair. I have to admit I've tried 2 of the hairstyles and failed but this is what became of the second attempt and I know what I did wrong with the first. It even stayed in her hair all day and all night! Of course her hair was dripping wet when I did it--that is one of her tips. Anyways--if you have a little girl, check out this blog: http://shedoeshair.blogspot.com/ . It has a lot of cute little girl hairstyles! Thanks Meg!
