Girl's bedroom makeover: Project #1

So Livi told me a couple months ago that her room is really boring.
I asked her what she meant and she told me that Brooklyn (cousin) has butterflies on her wall and Brayden (cousin) has a cool room but hers is just plain boring. (My brother had JUST moved into a new house and so of course the kids had new rooms!) I decided that for her birthday this year I will redo her room. She is in ballet and is obsessed with everything ballerina so that's the direction I'm taking it. This was my first project! I painted the purple bench white and made a ballerina bench pad for the top. The ballerina's weren't too bad but the double ruffle binding with satin = not so fun! But it sure is adorable!!!
More pictures to come! Lots more to paint and a bed to build!

Easter Sneak Peek

I went from miles of ruffles......

to this pettiskirt!

Cutest baby ever!!!
Now I have to make one for Livi. Not really fun to make but SOOOOO cute on! These are their Easter dresses this year. A HUGE thanks to my Grammie for providing a majority of the fabric!

Watching her walk around in it makes it even more precious!

Happy Valentine's Day (a week later)

Nathan brought home flowers and chocolate for me and flowers and chocolate for Olivia. He brought home Ellie a balloon which she loved! Livi wanted to want until she was really beautiful to take a picture with her flowers! So, we princessed her all up for church on Valentine's day and took these pics! She was soooooo excited about Valentine's Day!

We have pig tails!!!

It tooks some serious brushing, water, and pulling but I got two piggies!

Little helper

Is she not the cutest hairless baby you've ever seen! I put this hat on her and she loved it!
She never took it off!

This is a video of how helpful she is. Sweeping the floor, sweeping the dishes in the drawer. Her favorite thing to do is carry my kitchen utensils and dishes into where her toys are and her toys into the drawer with the dishes. So helpful!

Prima Ballerina

This post is for Aunt Becky :) JK Olivia had her first ballet recital on Jan 23rd. She was a sugar plum fairy from the Nutcracker ballet. The costumes were very ballerina "ish"! She LOVED it!

After the show, Dennis (my cousin) saved the day and gave Nate a couple flowers out of Lexi's to give to Livi. I did have a stuffed puppy in a present in the car--apparently next time I have to stick to flowers like the rest of the group!

Lexi was hot stuff in her socks!

Good friends!

The girls were the 2nd dancers in a show that lasted nearly 2 hours. They are supposed to wait for the final curtain call so they can go out and bow. It was a LONG 2 hours for them! We were holed up in Capital High School's choir room. They did ok for waiting so long!

Gotta love her!

My Pretty Pink Princess can walk

Isn't she sooooo cute?!? I got her this dress for her birthday and she wore it to church today. She was super cute in it, of course!
